COFFEE MACHINE SERVICE AND REPAIR
On-site repairs, servicing, overhauls and rebuilds. Booked in at a time that works, and if I need to order a part, you’ll know before I drive out.
(02)The wait
The usual sequence goes like this. The technician comes out, finds the fault in half an hour, doesn’t have the part on board, and orders it. He comes back three to five days later and fits it in twenty minutes.
For a café, that’s a week of mornings. For a machine at home, it’s a fortnight of instant.
I carry parts for the brands I see most. I work on a lot of different brands, so I won’t have everything for everything — and if I need to order something for yours, you’ll hear it on the phone. Not after I’ve driven out.
WHY A ONE-HOUR REPAIR TURNS INTO A FIVE-DAY WAIT
(03)Commercial
COMMERCIAL SERVICE AND REPAIRS
Cafés, bakeries, service stations and offices. Machines that have to be working by opening.
Breakdown repairs
Not pumping, not heating, leaking, tripping the power. On site, at your place.
Preventative servicing
Seals, gaskets, shower screens, group heads, valves. Before it fails, not after.
Overhauls and rebuilds
Full strip-down, replace what’s worn, back together and tested. Custom paint if you want it.
Water testing and filtration
Most machine deaths on this coast come down to water. I test yours and fit the right filter for it.
Installation and setup
New or second-hand, plumbed in and dialled in properly.
(04)Machines I work on
La Marzocco · Rancilio · Expobar · Rocket · ECM · Isomac · Lelit · Mazzer
All makes of espresso machines, grinders and coffee equipment. If yours isn’t listed, ask.
HOW A BREAKDOWN CALL ACTUALLY GOES
(05)How it works
01Call me, or send a photo.
What the machine is doing, and a picture of the model plate if you can find it.
02If I need to order anything, I tell you first.
I aim to diagnose prior to my visit, that way I can come with the correct parts. No wasted trip.
03I come to you and fix it on site.
Most jobs, that’s the end of it.
(06)When I can be there
ONE VAN, ONE PERSON, A LONG STRETCH OF COAST
Rather than promise a window and risk missing it, I’ll give you a time when you call, and I’ll keep it.
The Bega Valley is home ground. Narooma and Tilba are regular runs. Batemans Bay, the Snowy and the Gippsland end are longer trips, so those are booked in.
If you’re stuck and trading, say so on the phone. I’ll tell you honestly what I can do and when, rather than let you wait on someone who isn’t coming.
(07)Home & prosumer
YOUR MACHINE SERVICED ON YOUR BENCH, NOT SHIPPED AWAY FOR THREE WEEKS
If you own a decent machine, your options for getting it looked at aren’t good. Box it up and send it away, and you’re without it for a fortnight or more. Drive it to a workshop in Melbourne or Sydney. Or take the panels off yourself on a Sunday and hope.
I service prosumer machines in your kitchen. The machine doesn’t leave the house, and you’re not without it for weeks.
I specialise in La Marzocco. For more details:

(09)What it costs
I’ll quote you before I start. You’ll know what it costs before I touch anything, and I won’t do work you haven’t agreed to. Call me and I’ll give you a number for your machine.
BOOK IT IN
Give me a call and I’ll let you know I need to order any parts before I come.
